Catch up...

I haven't been blogging lately. Life has been very busy. I'll try to sum it all in a few blogs.

1. Valentine's Day:

I just love being a mom and doing things like this. These were the cookies and Valentine's I made for Asher-Man's class. The card cracked me up! I had to share!

Help from Experienced Moms Please!

Ok, so I feel like I have a newborn child again! Let me premise this by saying my child has been a excellent sleeper since he was 3 months old. Most mothers hate me for how easy he is in this department. However, there were a couple of nights last week that Asher did not sleep well, and I was constantly getting up with him. I even took him to the doctor thinking he had an ear infection. She said he was fine.
Well, he did it again last night. He woke up every hour between 10 and 5 this morning, and I'm exhausted! This is just a strange age for us. He's even regressed to using his pacifiers again. We were only giving them at bedtime. Now he wants them anytime he's home!
Nothing in our lives has changed except that all his main buddies were moved up in class simply by luck of the draw between 4-6 weeks ago. We finally insisted he be moved up hoping that would help some of his behaviors (which started around the time his classmates left him). It has helped some. He's actually excited to go to school again.
I don't get the sleep thing though. Any ideas?

Almost Famous

Have you ever wondered what people really think about you? You know do you REALLY know what you look like? You never actually get to see your own face in 3-D. Well, yesterday Asher was wanting a snack out of the cabinet when he came across a box of raisins. He pointed to the package, and said "Ma-Ma". I want to laugh now just thinking about it. He thinks the Sun-Maid Raisin Lady is his mother! The entire time he was eating his snack he walked around pointing at the big haired, big bonnet woman calling her Mama! I asked him one time "where's momma", and he pointed to her picture again! Cracks me up! My baby thinks I'm famous!

Busting at the Seams!

Saturday while in Eupora we had Asher's 2 year old pictures made (I know it's a month early) by Kim Kelley. She is an incredible photographer that Mark and his sister went to high school with. I have been admiring her work for a while now. She does my sister-in-law's kids. Anyway, I was thrilled to finally get her booked. She was on maternity leave last year for Asher's first birthday.
Kim said that the proofs would be ready in 7-10 days. I'm really anxious to see them, and she put a little sneak peak on her blog today. I promise my child is precious!...she's great at what she does too! Check out this sole picture that has me in suspense of what else is to come. The picture under "For Me" is my angel:)

Happy Anniversary!

Today my handsome husband and I have been married for three wonderful years. We've been through a lot in that time, and he's been my rock through more than most know.
This weekend Asher stayed with his Gran and Granddaddy while we spent the night in Philadelphia, MS which is only about an hour from them. We ate at one of the fine dining restaurants, and got a great room. We don't even like gambling that much, but we gave ole Lady Luck a shot. We actually won a little! Overall the weekend was fantastic! I have to say I was ready to see my baby though:) So...thanks Mark for a great time and a great life together. I love you more than I can express!!!
